A device that answers a child's endless "why?" is one of the best ways we know to build that relationship early. That is the product we set out to make: something a child can talk to, learn from, and grow with — and something a parent can see, understand and control.

For more than two decades our team built smart home hardware: switches, sensors and controllers that had to work reliably in real homes, on real networks, at real scale. When we decided to build an AI companion for children, we brought the same people and the same factory to the task.
Most toy companies make robots. Most smart home companies make switches. We make both — and they are the same technology.
Our AI Companion Robot has a built-in Tuya control hub, the same platform our smart home switches and sensors run on. So the robot your child talks to in the morning is also the device that can turn the lights off at night.
That is why we could build the robot at all: we already owned the platform, the firmware and the supply chain.
Our robot is not an advertising channel. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no social accounts for your child. It is a device for talking, asking and learning.
A subscription turns a child's playtime into recurring revenue, which we think creates the wrong incentive for whoever makes the device. Our AI features are included when you buy it — nothing expires and nothing renews.
Because our robots talk to children, safety shapes what we build — not what we bolt on at the end. We keep the capability surface small on purpose, and we show parents what was said.
Our robots do not browse the open web and do not play music. They need a stable Wi-Fi connection to answer quickly. We would rather set that expectation before you buy than explain it afterward.
1999 — We began as an electronics manufacturer, building connected hardware for the home.
2000s – 2010s — We built a full smart home range on the Tuya platform: WiFi, Bluetooth Mesh and Zigbee switches, sensors and controllers.
2025 — We launched our first AI Companion Robot for children, followed by the AI Robot Dog.
Why children's AI, after all those years of switches? Because the technology finally caught up with what we wanted to build. Fast, affordable language models meant a companion could hold a real conversation instead of reciting canned lines. And the children growing up now deserve to meet AI in a form their parents can see, understand and control.
This category has had public failures. In February 2026 it was reported that another AI toy maker exposed thousands of children's conversations. Parents deserve specifics, not slogans.

It requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (it does not connect to 5 GHz) — make sure your phone and the robot are on the same network during setup. If it feels slow after that, move it closer to your router and remove thick walls or metal between them.
