● Previous Method: Users could manually switch between AI models in the Smart Life App.
● New Method (Effective June 18, 2026): The Smart Life App will now automatically assign the most suitable AI model based on your country/region.
This change is due to updated enterprise access policies from major AI providers. The update will be rolled out to all users in batches.

● The AI robot has been preset a role, default language is English. After the robot is added in Smart Life app, tap "Role Change" → "My Characters" → "Create New Role" → Fill out information and tap "Next" → Select a language and tap "Confirm" → Select a voice tap "Apply", and then tap "Confirm" → Find the custom role you just created and tap "Apply" → Language change is done.

The robot dog features 4 distinct chat modes. Please note that only one mode can be active at a time. Be sure to check the current mode to operate the robot correctly:
● [Free to Chat] mode(Default): Say “Hi Tuya” to wake up the robot dog in the first, then start a conversation with it.
● [Press to Talk] mode: Short press "Button 1" and release → Speak to robot dog → The robot receives your questions, think and then answer → Short press "Button 1" again to continue the conversation.
● [Long Press to Talk] mode: Long press "Button 1" and hold on, meanwhile speak to robot dog → Release the button → The robot receives your questions, think and then answer → Long press "Button 1" again to continue the conversation.
● [Wake Up to Chat] mode: Similar to the "Free to Chat" mode, but the difference is that in this mode, you need to say the wake-up word every time before a question is asked.
※ Auto Sleep: The robot will automatically enter sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, simply say "Hi Tuya" or press "Button 1".
※ Interrupt: Want to stop the robot mid-sentence? Just short press "Button 1".
※ Switch Modes: Double press "Button 1" to cycle through the different chat modes.
